The BIG Bridal show in Cleveland is THIS weekend!  If you are engaged or will be in the next 2 days....you can't miss this one!  It is by far the biggest and best Bridal show you can attend in the Cleveland and surrounding areas.  It will host the most vendors in any category you may be looking for.  Of course I brag about the show because we will be there, but really you should too!  It is hosted by the wonderful Today's Bride.  We are always excited about the BIG show even though for the weeks leading up to it and the day of set-up might just stress us out a little, or maybe more than a little!  After doing this show last year we had the most clients we have ever had and can only hope we go up from there in 2014. Yes you are reading that correctly May of 2012...only a year and a half ago we did some amazing work for Nina & David's wonderful Florida destination wedding.  Since then you  may have seen it displayed at several Bridal Shows we have attended.  Unfortunately we are BAD bloggers....it along with streamlining our Etsy store are our top priorities for 2014.  So as the wedding season slows down we are going to flood you with all of the 2013 amazingness that has been produced and as you can see even some from 2012.

So Nina ad David...They had a very specific concept in mind as well as colors.  Nina had found several ideas online that she liked but with very limited options, that is when she contacted me.  She wanted to spice up the ideas she had seen, have them fit with her colors and create an overall cohesive look to the wedding.  Not a problem...

We started with the invitations.  Modern, fun with a mixture of patterns to spice them up (chevron, lattice & thick stripes).

 

 

From there we used the same combination modern flair and patterns throughout the ceremony and reception.

Austin's 2nd Birthday!

My little man is only about to turn 3 in a month!!  Blog and facebook posts are few and far between this year.  We have been very busy, which of course is a good thing, but in all honesty did not expect it so we have yet to really reorganize to accommodate everything that needs to be done...like post the latest and greatest.  So before he turns 3 here is a glimpse at his Dino-Mite 2nd Birthday!  You can find additional pictures here on Facebook.

Welcome to Oz!

WOW...has it really been 4 months since I last blogged?  Where has the time gone?  Oh who am I kidding, we have been SUPER busy.  At times very overwhelmed....I won't sugar coat it.  Good, bad, exciting, frustrating all at the same time.  All worth it?  Most definitely!  We love what we do and are over the moon at the amount of business we are getting this year.  Amidst crazy wedding season how can we pass up the opportunity to work with some of the best Cleveland area vendors on a styled shoot!!  Of course we can't and unfortunately all of the loveliness that came of it we have to wait to share because we are trying very hard to get it featured!  In the meantime please visit the blog of our amazingly talented photographer for a look behind the scenes...Enjoy, we love her :)

Happy 1st Birthday Violet!!

So we continue to play catch on all of the wonderful we created last year....hopefully we will get most of it to you before the crazy of this year really starts to take shape.  Currently we are looking at what will be by far the best year for us here at DG Invites.  We are still keeping our fingers crossed, but so far amazing!  With that I would like to show you a little bit from another one of our wonderful birthday parties.  We designed this printable storybook themed party package for none other than one of our most cherished clients.  She can throw a party like none other...wait until you see the newest one we are working on now!!  You can also check out her Pirate Party and Grown Up Cinderella Party.  For this lovely we designed a storybook invitation, return address labels, book plate stickers, happy birthday bunting, cupcake wraps, cupcake flags, thank you tags, sheet paper, tented cards, drink wraps and some additional signage.  You know you love this and the fact that it was at a carousel makes this party 10x better!  Here are a handful of photos from the party.  Want to see more?  Visit our Facebook Page.
