Baby Segal is on his way! These charming invitations were created using a baby bird theme since the expectant couple's last name is Segal. Their friends and family fondly call them "The Birds". These invitations were so fun to design! The mama and papa bird in this invitation are keeping an eye on their baby boy that is developing in their nest! Congratulations "Birds"! We can't wait to hear of "baby birds" arrival!

Wedding Invitations
One of our recent projects was creating wedding invitations for Michelle. She came to us looking for two invitations for her wedding. You might be asking yourself, why two? Well, she wanted an invitation for people being invited to just the reception and for people who were being invited to both, the ceremony and reception. We were able to do just that! Michelle wanted to use the colors sage, ecru and brown. We designed a unique invitation just for her! She was looking to add a personal touch, so to each invite we added a quote at the bottom. Michelle was a pleasure to work with and was so excited when she saw the finished product! Best wishes Michelle and Roger! :) We wish you a life time of love and happiness!

TheBridal Showcase - Charlotte, NC 2011
Busy...Busy...Busy!! Working on getting the new booth design completed before the Bridal Show in 6 days!!!! Aghhhhh....6 days, so much to do and of course never enough time to get it all done. You know I could have started it months ago....well who am I kidding this is always the case! As you can see it is 1am, which is typical of a nights work. This time though I get to cut, sew and staple rather than sit at the computer. Mini break to write a short note though...I am trying really hard to become more consistent in writing here. We really want you to know what is going on with us so...."To be a better blogger" is one of my New Years resolutions! We will see how well we keep up with it. Only 4 more edges to sew and this weekends fabric mess will come to an end! VERY exciting...more than you know. It will all be worth it in the end, the new booth is going to look AMAZING!! Hope to see you all there....get early discounted tickets here:

Todays Thoughts....
So with the Holidays fast approaching and a few already behind us, things with DG Invites are busier than ever! This is great because normally this time of year we consider it the "down time" or shall we say the calm before the storm. We like to think of it as a time where we can relax, enjoy the Holidays, come up with new ideas and get ready for the big bridal shows in the coming months. Well so much for that....
I say that with sarcasm as it really is a great thing that all of our lovely clients from the past think so highly of us that they continue to send us orders and refer us to amazing new clients. Alas, I find myself going through each day feeling like I am not getting a whole lot accomplished. When in reality I do get quite a bit accomplished....proofs for wedding clients, stationery upon stationery order and not to mention all of the Holiday cards!
So to add to the mix DG Invites is very excited to say we have relocated back to the Charlotte area after a very long and frustrating move from Atlanta. Sigh....you feel my pain, moving is NOT fun!
Well stay tuned for more exciting news from us as we start to fill you in on all of the wonderful orders we are working on now...
