2015 Pantone Color of the Year - Marsala

What better way to end the CRAZY 2014 season then with a little inspiration for 2015.  In the coming months we play catch up and blow up your news feeds with all the wonderful we did this year.  Why have we been so MIA?  Well you will see in the blogs to come.

For now, the color experts at Pantone have narrowed down their top 16 colors for 2015 and named Marsala -- a "naturally robust and earthy wine red" -- the color of the year for 2015. This subdued hue is in sharp contrast to the shades selected in recent years: 2014's radiant orchid, 2013's emerald, and 2012's tangerine tango. It works wonderfully as a base color for your wedding, and it can be complemented either by warm tones, like orange, yellow, or coral, or cool tones, like blue or purple. Here are some teasers of what will surely be a hit this coming season!

Who needs St. Patrick's Day when you have these two? We had the honor of working with Rachel to design one amazing silver, white and kelly green pocketfold invitation.  Along with that we did our infamous clover escort cards along with programs with a clover cutout in them! Sorry for the lack of quality invite and program photos, but you get the idea!

Mickey Mouse & Friends ~ September 2013

USPS Postage Increase Starts January 26th!!

And it is happening again...USPS is increasing it's stamp pricing.  Sending your invites out with the wrong postage could turn into a HUGE hassle!  If you are in the process of mailing your invites right now or will be soon take note, especially if you have stamps already!  Rates will increase starting Sunday, January 26th, 2014.

Highlights of the new single-piece First-Class Mail pricing, effective Jan. 26, 2014 include:

• Letters (1 oz.) — 3-cent increase to 49 cents
• Letters additional ounces —  1-cent increase to 21 cents
• Letters to all international destinations (1 oz.) — $1.15
• Postcards — 1-cent increase to 34 cents  

Courtney & Ken ~ 10.5.13
